Notes on Covenant and Banker's Order
A. As the Society is a Registered Charity you can effectively increase the Society's income by entering into a
covenant, thereby enabling the Society to reclaim income tax at basic rate on your annual subscription so that
your £10 is now worth £12.50.
B. Companies should note that Covenants must be made in accordance with their Articles of Association and a special
form will be forwarded on request; the above form is not applicable.
C. Both covenanted and ordinary subscriptions are payable by Banker's Order. The use of Banker's Orders is of considerable
convenience to members and the Society. When completed, Banker's Orders should be returned to the Hon. Secretary
and not to the Bank.
